Aloha! My name is Katrina and I'm so excited to share the art of American Sign Language with you and your child! I have 10+ years experience working with children and families. I became Hawaii's FIRST Baby Signing Time instructor in September 2010. I became familiar with Signing Time in 2003 when a family member's son was speech delayed and their family used Signing Time to learn American Sign Language to communicate. With their success, they shared their love of Signing Time with my family. We've been believers ever since.
I have a 2 year old daughter who LOVES watching Baby Signing Time and Signing Time. Her first sign was "baby" at 11-months and has steadily increased her sign vocabulary. Using sign language has helped her communicate her wants and needs with us. She is so proud of her ability to communicate through sign language. We recently added another daughter to our family and have already started signing with her, we look forward to experiencing the benefits of signing with her!
